In this video, a powerful panel of individuals on the front lines, including Rick Joyner, General Boykin, Tony Perkins, and Frank Turek gather to address some major current issues. Our country is in serious jeopardy at this very moment. The solutions for America’s deadly problems are not going to come out of Washington – they are going to come from revival. Christians are attacked in political rings, and their truthful viewpoints are being removed from debate. We need those who are the salt and the light of the earth! Christians need to get involved in politics, not just in evangelism. Politics effect evangelism; if we do not stand up and get involved in our country, our rights could easily be taken away. If we want righteous government, we have to put Christians in it.

Glad Christians Are Getting Involved

I have been a Christian for 29 years and have been involved in my local church for 27 of those years. My husband and I found a small group of friends in the church, all of us were in our mid 20's at the time, to fellowship with. In total there were five couples. Sadly, all but one are now divorced. All of the men were the ones that left their wives and all still consider themselves to be Christians. There are ten children who have been affected. These were not the only divorces in our church of 250 or so members just the ones with which I am close. Through these experiences I have witnessed societies impact on these families and the compromise or lack of direction that my local church has had to combat the enemies infiltration. I have witnessed, felt, and battled the devastation that moral drift and compromise has produced in the people I care for and love. I have felt alone in the battle to care for the children left confused by fathers who leave them and still claim the Lord as their Savior. I wholeheartedly believe that political policies and the lack of Christian's involvement in government contributed to these divorces. Each of the members in these marriages were raised in a time where graphic sex education was taught in school with no moral implications attached. Men were viewed as big boys who needed toys and women were one of those toys. Not a good set up for healthy marriages, especially if you come from weak Christian homes or you are young in your faith. Add to this No Fault Divorce which allows a man or woman to walk away from his or her family without penalty, taking half of the assets of the marriage and equal time with the children. The offended party usually has to endure financial devastation and, worst of all, the influence of the parent that left the marriage. The political policies of our country have definitely had a greater impact on these families than our church body has, I am sorry to say. Four out of five marriages that ended in divorce ranging in duration from 10 to 20 years in length is a sad comment.
