What is Muslim Shariah Law?
Kamal Saleem
Friday, May 13, 2011
Muslim Shariah Law is essentially the Islamic constitution. In this video, Kamal Saleem, a former devout Muslim, shares about the concepts of Islamic law and how it operates as a nation. The government does not tell Muslims what to do – instead, Shariah Law dictates what Muslims do. Shariah Law is an exact system for how a Muslim is supposed to live his or her life. There is no freedom, because Islam means full submission to the Law, rather than peace and love. Kamal talks about Jihad, or “Holy War,” underlying Islamic laws and how Muslims come to impart themselves into a nation.
