In this edition of Prophetic Perspectives on Current Events, Rick Joyner brings clarity and casts a new light on words about the recent and coming earthquake and the economic unraveling. God has restrained many of these catastrophic events, and He will continue to do so if we turn to Him as a nation. There are no dates laid out for when these events will come to pass, but these events are imminent. If we look to the pattern of biblical prophecy, we see that some events took hundreds of years to come to pass; this is because a period of waiting causes us to seek the Lord. We must live by faith in the Lord and not by fear.

Japan has a lot of past ancient history of killing christian monks who came to there Island to preach the gospel. At that time the warlords, they killed these monks and buried their Shinto temples on the piles of bodies and bones. There is also some rumor there is a link with Japan and Israel and there is some speculation of them patterning there unusual Shinto religion having some Hebraic customs. Some say the Japanese coming over from Korean shores may have ties to a lost tribe of Israel.
I've heard you comment many times about the 31 things and how 30 have come to pass. Can you share what the last thing is? Is it the earthquake in California that you and Bob Jones have seen?
I asked God what He was doing in the midst of upheaval in 2010, He said He was building "Enclaves of Freedom".

First, thank you... as a young Christian of 16 (32 years ago)... God gave me a repeating vision over the years. "I am standing on what appears to be the shoreline like you'd see in the Carolina's looking over the Atlantic Ocean. (Note: I've never been there). The sunlight is just above and behind me with a blue sky above... however, as far as I could see out to see... there was this all encompassing, pitch blackness moving slowing towards me... like a storm. But I did not see lightning in it. But it had 'presence', 'weight' and triggered a sense of 'foreboding' in me."
Second, about 10 years ago, while I was out of work for 3 1/2 years... God said a great storm was coming. My daily prayer was "Lord, provide me a job that will protect my family and I throughout this storm." And sure enough, while banks left & right collapsed all around us in 2008-current... where I now work remains strong & steady...even still. God is Awesome!!! I'm no prophet and don't care to be... not a fun job for anyone. But, I would be remiss If I didn't share these things with you to both warn, encourage and provide some basic "hands on" stuff that's not theory... but practical stuff we're doing now.
And you don't need a lot of money to do it either... just a little creativity, determination & sacrifice to get it done... while you can.
As for water... I've been researching and building a rain harvester. We collect, shock & then heavily filter our water... Chlorox has a limited shelf life and can lose its effectiveness over a year. Professional grade Seychelle & Katadyn water filters & water filter "bottles" have silver impregnated carbon filters that filter out heavy metals, toxins & kill microbes & bacteria that sicken people. They run around $17 to $100 but are used by hikers, missionaries...etc. Don't buy cheap imitations... safe water is the difference between life & death. Buying activated charcoal (or making it) is also good filtration media for heavy metal/toxin removal. Another method is filling "C-l-e-a-r" 2 liter bottles with water & setting the bottles in the sun for 6-8 hours to kill off microbes & bacteria with the sun's U/V rays... but this method does NOT remove toxins or heavy metals. Carbon is the wonder material which bonds to everything to remove it... God's awesome!
As for Food, keep it simple... what would you take with you on an extended camping trip? How much of what would you eat? People make mistakes of buying lousy food for "emergencies" that good bad with time. In your pantry, rotate out your stock of food with what you eat already. And in case of bad weather, power outages or whatever... and people are descending upon local stores... take a trip downstairs to "Mom's Pantry Store." And this can be filled up over months of sales, bargain hunting, discounts, special deliveries...etc. Soups make good stock for casseroles. Herbs & Spices can dress up the blandest foods... and have medical/health benefits too.
Buy a little extra... sure enough, someone else will need help... by planning ahead, you can help others by instituting a "Stone Soup" approach by encouraging others to kick in a little each to provide more variety, substance and fellowship by eating together. The worst of times can also become the best of times... if we prepare our minds, hearts & spirits for what God has planned... in advance.
Finally... Y2K was a very serious threat. I've been in the information technology profession for over 24 years and saw systems crash first-hand during beta testing when the clocks ticked over to 01/01/01... it was ugly. However, a ton of money, brain power and titanic effort was invested that turned Y2K into the world's greatest "non-event" -but the threat was very, very real. *There's a lesson there...

I just had to comment on this video. I was truly thunderstruck by the vision shared by Jim Baker--for just last week I had this same vision. I saw these four ENORMOUS angels that looked like they were in the shape of pillars or giant pylons for that matter and they had been driven deep, deep into the earth. They really looked like they were supports to a large building. One of them looked at me (which is always a bit terrifying for me) and told me he was waiting. My husband and I are Believers who tried to move away and stay away from California a decade ago. But the Lord in His mercy has called us back. We have been on a very long, wild, and refining journey with the Lord since we have been back in CA. And my Pastor encouraged me to read your books Pastor Joyner. We are now part of a new church plant in a little community called Scotts Valley, which is right next to Santa Cruz. We have felt for the past three years that this major quake is coming and that our church is called not only to be ready--but to be ready for the Revival that the Lord is going to bring. The Harvest!! And to be ready and willing to war, work and lay down our lives for those who NEED salvation. When I saw these pillars it felt like they were going to help literally HOLD UP this little community--that is very unique for this area of CA in that it is seeped in generations of prayers--and is filled with Believers. Interestingly the area geographically is sandy--and my husband is been concerned about liquifaction during a major quake that could cause more severe damage in this particular community. But when I saw these pillars my husband felt that not only could the Lord literally hold up this area--but that we may be called to be one of the many cities of refuge, or Goshens that will be found all up and down the coast of CA. We have prayed and YES the Lord has confirmed that we are to be here--that we are in His will. And we have also done A LOT to prepare; quake proofed our home, emergency plans in place, supplies stored up (although we are praying for more supplies so that we can have more than enough for our family AND our neighbors!!) even extra large containers of water stored. The Lord has given us some unusual and specific action plans-a lot we have done and a lot we are in the middle of doing now.
The other thing that stunned and truly kind of frightened me during this time was the dream that I had 3 days before the major Japan quake I saw on old man and a young boy on a beach holding hands and enjoying themselves, their backs were to the water and as I watched them I saw an enormous tsunami coming towards them--they were totally unaware. I cried out to warn them--but they were overtaken a swept over by the enormous wave. This was the entirety of my dream. I few days after the Japan quake and the subsequent tsunamis--the one in Japan and the one we had here in Santa Cruz that did quite a bit of damage to our harbor here. The Holy Spirit reminded me of my dream--and I asked Him, who the old man and the young boy symbolizes and He said well of course, the old man was Japan, and the young boy was CA, USA!! Yikes!! I've had prophetic dreams before but none like this. Needless to say I have been paying VERY close attention to my dreams lately!!
Pray for us as we are here doing His will--and willing to do whatever it takes. Because our lives are not ours we died to ourselves our lives are only HiM!!

Today (May 5, 2011) there were quakes in Japan, Mexico and Alaska.
Here's some pretty interesting info on the number of earthquakes for the last 11 years.
It looks like this year we are on track to have 3x as many as most previous years.

Rick I want to thank you for informing God's people, whatever the cost. I just recently became aware of you and your ministry. I so would have loved to have heard what God had to say through his prophets earlier but so thankful I have heard now. In regards to that, I am a nurse who has taken time out to get prepared and would like to know where to get Disaster training or any necessary training, so that I can be prepared and ready to go where needed. I have looked into the colleges but it is costly and timely. Can I get the training online through FEMA or other options? I would appreciate your councel and guidence. I realized you are very busy and few to answer emails, but Lord willing you can help. Thanks so much for communicating about the coming earthquakes and preparations. Any insight on last weeks tornadoes or the recent assassination attempts on Gaddafi? Incidentally, I also have a generator but I still look foreward to having my own solar panels.
It might be helpful to know that the prices on Jim Bakker's site are much much higher compared to the prices of the same items on for example CostCo.com.

Earthquakes - a must read for Christians

With all of this in mind, it is fascinating to take note of some astounding statistics that were brought to my attention last year by Pastor Cecil Boswell, from Nashville, Tenn. Pastor Boswell has spent a lot of time reviewing and calculating statistics from the U.S. Geological Survey. By analyzing the records of ancient earthquakes as well as every earthquake in modern times that registered a 7.0 or higher on the Richter scale, the picture that emerges is portentous indeed.
From 1 A.D. to 1800 there were 11 major earthquakes recorded in history. This results in an average of one major earthquake approximately every 100 years.
From 1900 to 2000 there were 10 major earthquakes 7.0 or higher. This results in an average of one major earthquake every 10 years.
This brings us to recent times. One of the most notable major earthquake was in Bam, Iran, on Dec. 26, 2003. Exactly one year later, Dec. 26, 2004, Sumatra, Indonesia, experienced another massive earthquake and a subsequent devastating tsunami. Between these two earthquakes, more than 330,000 lives were lost.
From 2003 to 2007, there were 29 major earthquakes 7.0 or higher. This results in an average of one major earthquake every 49 days.
In 2008, there were 12 major earthquakes 7.0 or higher. This results in an average of one major earthquake every 37 days.
In 2009, there were 16 major earthquakes 7.0 or higher. This results in an average of one major earthquake every 22 days.
In 2010, there were 24 major earthquakes 7.0 or higher. This results in an average of one major earthquake every 15 days.
I have no question that the scoffers will scoff at this information, but the numbers don't lie. In fact, based on the undeniable patterns, on March 4, six days before the earthquake in Japan, Pastor Cecil sent me the following e-mail:
Prediction: The longest amount of time last year that the earth went without a major (7.0 or greater) earthquake was 57 days. We haven't had a major earthquake since January 18th of this year. As of today, we stand at 45 days without a major quake. I am predicting a major (7.0 or greater) earthquake BEFORE Wednesday, March 17th. … my prediction is that there will be a major earthquake sometime within the next week!
Sadly, even within the church, there will be those who claim that this information means absolutely nothing and that Christians should pay no attention. But for the majority of believers out there who take Jesus' words at face value, who are watching the specific signs that Jesus spoke of, the evidence is all there. The contractions are increasing in both intensity and frequency. I believe there is a birth on the horizon.

I have tried to watch this video at least sevent time but it always blocked after 3 -5 minutes and did not go further. So I could never finish it. Could you please check if there is a problem with the video. All the other i have no problems with.

If you wait for a while the video will continue. Your System need to re-buffer for continuation; this is often the case when the internet speed is relatively low.
What I do is to push "pause" and leave it for a while and you will see a gray line moving slowly to the right which must be ahead of the button that indicates the progress during video play. Much success!
