Changing the Atmosphere With Our Praise
Bishop Joseph Garlington
Thursday, November 10, 2011

In this Featured Video from our recent HarvestFest Conference at MorningStar Ministries in Fort Mill, SC, Bishop Joseph Garlington shares about changing atmospheres through our worship. We can change seasons, creating kairos moments, when we praise God. In the Bible when God’s people began to sing praises to Him, He set up ambushes against their enemies.

Changing the Atmosphere with Praise

Wow! Thank you. I love worship and praise, your presentation is simple and to the point. I hope more people understand the importance of praise because of this. I am definitely forwarding this. God bless you, Damaris

Hidden Praise

I have done the same as the aforementioned Martin Luther. I've taken popular songs and given them scriptural words. Eg. The Irish Rovers sing "Wasn't that a Party?" makes a great "Are you coming to the Party? (The marriage supper of the Lamb)"Celine Dion's "I'm Alive" sounds like Jesus arising from the grave. The Salvation Army did likewise used tavern songs. Christians need the Joy of the Lord and not rules about how to be starchy and dry as a crust. Thanks for the video.
