There are many resources on the internet for this subject including James Wesley Rawles Survivalblog. I have been reading it for five years and we actually sold our home and moved to a rural location after absorbing the material and praying fervently for direction prior to the 2008 meltdown. His material is quite technical some days and very gun oriented but you can sort thru and evaluate what is meaningful to you and do it. The important thing is to keep focused on the project and reading and doing things daily keeps that happening. Especially difficult when most Christians will tell you that they are not concerned and waiting for the Rapture or a supernatural deliverance and act like anyone preparing is downright weird. God has confirmed many times what to do and will continue to if we seek Him. Many of us involved with prepping have a Joseph anointing on us and we are called to be ready to help and even rescue our family members and share Christ with them when everything falls.Bless you for your courage to speak an unpopular message, Reminds me of David Wilkerson's book The Vision written in the 70's and not really recieved all that well by his peers or rather maybe it was his subsequent project in Texas that they didn't like. His book has been a beacon of truth for many years.

dear rick,i am a new zealander/a spirit filled believer for some 35 years/a professional/and believe my called ministry within the Body of Christ is that of a Prophet.That means i have no effective ministry as that Office is not currently recognised or embraced by the Church in NZ at an indigenous level(whether mainline,charismatic or pentecostal).So it is pleasant to share a few thoughts and experienses on the christchurch equake in an accepting forum. .i have lived in the South Island of NZ for 28 years and know christchurch well as its Capital city.i have friends and family living there.altho living 360 kilometres south of Chch, as the crow flys,i felt both the 7.1 quake on 4 Sept and the 6.3 quake on 22 Feb.also i was in Chch to experience the 4.9 quake on Boxing Day (in a building about 1 km from the epicentre).i saw the damage to the city in the flesh both before and after the Boxing Day quake.Chch is a city close to my heart so i have meditated on these things and the resulting questions (e.g.why does God allow natural Disasters,was this a Judgement on the people of Chch,was this just an unfortunate natural event?).the Clergy's response to such questions has been predictably Politically Correct e.g.this has just been caused by the movement of tectonic plates (Nature) and God is revealled in this event by the Love people are showing each other in such a time of need. for my own part i felt it was not Judgement on Chch because of its Unrighteousness.applying the principles in Genesis 18:22-33 and Chch having an active Believing community of about 10% of its population (and many righteous without faith).However when the quake struck on 22 feb,and with the assistance of very good extensive television coverage for the hours and days afterwards,i had a strong impression in my spirit that " The World Had Changed ".i wrestled with the significance and meaning of this "Word" (i.e.Rhema) for many days afterwards.being of a cautious nature i chose to believe that would be its effect on my personal life (i.e. my future plans to move to Chch now cancelled) or regional (i.e.huge economic adverse effect on the South Island). however now we have the Huge quake in Japan.maybe that Word was more embracing than i feared to think! your comments that the quakes in "Christ-Church" maybe a fulfilment of the Biblical principle that "judgement must begin in the house of God" is food for thought indeed.i know you are applying that to the Church world wide - however it would be fair to say the Lord brought great blessing to the Church in NZ in the 1960s and 70s ,yet today it is weak,ineffectual,fractured and the operation of the Gifts and true whorship in the Spirit has almost disappeared.its very sad.yet like the Emperors new Clothes no one will admit it. thankyou for the priviledge to share these thoughts with yourself and your readers. how do you end a posting like this?maybe with "Maranatha !" as we all used to say in the 70s.

I want to thank you for making this available to us, helping us to prepare for the upcoming challenges and direction for prayer. I feel like I have a better grasp for prayer and preparation, but am hopeful that there will be further, more detailed information regarding preparation. I will be checking for disaster training in my area and watching your website for possible additional information. As a side note, about three years ago I awoke on several occasions over about 3-4 months, singing a song, "silver and gold, silver and gold, blessings a plenty in silver and gold", I couldn't seem to get it out of my mind. Shortly after that I heard several teachings about the economy and needing to be prepared. I appreciate the confirmation of the direction I felt.

On 3/25/11 Gina posted a comment re. the Midwest. I too have had such a revelation/vision/dream. Approximately 7 years ago after moving to Michigan from Arizona I had a powerful dream/vision. I was standing high on a platform above the United States on the southern end. The whole U.S. was barren and covered in gray rain, when suddenly the earth opened up in the center of the U.S. - It was approximately in the Kansas, Missouri areas. It looked like hot lava was churning in the huge crevice of that area, and some automobiles were driving right into and disappearing into the crevice. Another thing I noticed was that California was no longer on the west coast, but it was moved over to the east coast . Same shape but totally moved to the opposite side of the country. For 7 years I have prayed about what all this meant, and am still praying. A thought about stockpiling food makes me think of Heidi Baker and the multiplication of food that happens over and over in Mozambique where she feeds the children. Jesus fed thousands of people with a few fish and pieces of bread. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. I pray that we might have the faith of Jesus! The dunamis faith of God's provision. That God provides all our needs in abundance according to His riches in Glory. Jehovah Jire - the Lord my Provider. Amen.

Thanks for frank honesty, Rick. I praise God for your leadership and integrity, and trust He will continue to lead and guide us with His "father-hearted" leaders. I dreamt this morning about a soviet-style society established in the USA, a police state. When I woke the Lord reminded me of His exhortation to establish "Enclaves of Freedom" . Also, George Washington's Vision has been brought back to my remembering, I feel it is both an encouragement and admonision to the Bride of Christ to prepare now.

I wrote down and shared with my churches prophetic ministry about a vision the Lord showed me three weeks ago,he showed me a big black unfolding cloud rolling in,like as if a big storm was aproaching. It was a very dark cloud,as I'm seeing this I asked the lord what did it mean? Here is what I heard, as you see thing unfolding in the next six months, this is just the beginning of what is coming to this country. It will be like the times of Joseph when he interpreted pharos dream. This is the time for the saints of God to get out debt, to stop spending foolishly, and to began to turn their holdings into metals,at that moment I thought about what I didn't own and how would I exchange anything,but then it came to me that with vision comes provision. God said he wants his people in position so the world can really see God as provider and salvation,right after this vision, the revolt in Egypt began, and the world news has begun a roller coaster ride. The Last word that I heard was to stay watchful in prayer and to keep our ear in tuned with Holy Spirit.keep us in your prayers.

The Lord showed me years ago that Christians would become a trade and barter society. We need to know all that we have to offer for those who suffer. One very practical thing the Lord has shown me was to freeze vegetable seeds in vacuum sealed bags, using an inexpensive kitchen vacuum sealer. I believe the Lord showed me that the government would place a hold on any of the seeds that we can commonly buy at the stores. Please tell Christians that those seeds they preserve will be like bags of gold in there hands. There is coming a day when seed will be so scarce and government controlled that it will be unavailabe for the common man. We must be like Joseph and store warehouses of seed. When famine comes this seed will be extremely valuable. For those who have stored it away, it will be very valuable as a bartering tool. Are you sure this earthquake is coming to the west coast. I believe the Lord showed me the nation would be divided east from west with a MIDWEST earthquake in the mississippi valley ? We know in part and prophesy in part. For your discernment. This is what I saw this morning: The epicenter is at the NW part of the US on land, not out in the ocean. Two days ago I saw a cross with like fiery burning lava on it and heard the word crossroads. My friend saw the NW corner of the US and saw the ground broken up in waves.

I think current stock market pull back "up" beyond 1930 model, which may be Lord giving people more time in this "up" to prepare and get out if they are willing to listen. I have been asked about and told that this info in the these 3 videos on the implication of the Japanese earthquake would be more credible if the citations that Bob Jones and others made were given as proof that they did indeed say those things...like a reference to their words of prophecies that you mention. I have much trust myself in Rick Joyner's words to be true but others to which I have shared this warning are asking questions that are, I think, reasonable requests to see when and where and what these past prophecies are ( in other words, "where can I read or hear these past prophetic words? Where is the proof that these words were said when and how they say they were")...so they can read them themselves. Would that be possible? I want as many as possible to BELIEVE these words of warning, with no reasonable obstruction to their belief. I do understand that there will be those who would not believe no matter what and I can only pray for those. But I do want to help people to take this seriously. Thank you for "hearing" me on this! Rick Joyner is a man of God and a man of integrity. We love and appreciate Him. Part 3 sounds a lot better that # 1 and # 2. We really need to proclaim Christ, our present (now and here) reality. The Cross of Christ was "The End" ! If you are looking for a new creation you will only find it in Him. Christ in and through us is the only, only, only,only. vehicle, City, Temple, Plan, Body God has and will ever use to reveal/manifest His Son as He is revealed/manifested in and through HIS BODY (hello). Should we be prepared for any kind of disaster? Sure, I usually wear my seat belts its just common sense. The problem is that we always reap what we sow. I plan on sowing Christ every chance I get. Creation is groaning for the manifestation of the son of God in the sons of God Maybe we need to know and see Christ as Paul did. Gal 1:15 But when God, who had set me apart from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal (apokalupto) His Son in (in, in,in) me. NOW THERE IS THE "REVELATION" WE NEED !!!!!!! Morningstar Ministries is quite a name but can it be if.... THE DAY has not dawned and THE MORNING STAR has not risen IN YOUR HEARTS (11 Peter 1:19) ! After clicking on the button to read the part 3 bulletin I was surprised to find information at the end that said I needed to listen to the audio version if I wanted to get more details . I wanted to read because the speakers I have available cannot be adjusted for volume and cannot be heard when the heat or air conditioner are working. It is also a distraction to another co-worker. So my request is to make the written version exactly the same as the audio. What concerns me most about this coming meltdown is how severe it will be on our society. Those who do not know God (as well as shallow believers) will be in absolute panic - leading to riots, looting/pillaging and certainly burglary and murder in neighborhoods as such people think only of themselves and their families in such times. It makes me even wonder what good would it be to store food and water if you live in a neighborhood - as it's hard to imagine people not going from house to house for help, food or water that they didn't store (either asking for it or getting it forcefully). What do we do.....give away our food and water that our own family needs to survive? Of course you pray the Lord will be multiplying food and water when this time comes. Also, I imagine all power will be off within a few days - meaning all sources of communication will be unavailable (cell phones, interenet, radio, news updates, etc.) Not having central heating and air will be the least of our concern. Gas for our vehicles will be gone within days too. This sounds like the stage is being set for the anti-Christ to rise up in leadership to provide answers and guidance for the people.

To Whom It May Concern: I think what Rick Joyner is doing on preparing the body for what is coming … is the most important thing going on in the church today. Rick Joyner is a true leader!!! And I don’t think the LORD could of found a better person to do this. Father always knows best. As far as this ministry instructing Christ’s body on how to prepare for these End Times, Rick has asked for advice. I have a few things on my heart. To make this information more organized, I would like to see it eventually have its own folder. I think it would be beneficial for us to have a specific folder on the video webpage to go to for reference. A folder with a name that would be catchy to the effect: “Preparing for 2012” and later on into 2012 change it to maybe something like: “Preparing for the End Times” Yes, the End Times. A year ago I was on a 21 day water fast and at the end of the fast God told me we are in the End of the End Times. Some things that I personally feel should be included in this folder head would be the videos of Rick Joyner explaining the “Spiritual Significance of the Japanese Earthquake”, and Part 1, 2, and 3 on this topic. Also Larry Randolph’s video on the “Eye of the Storm.” May I also suggest your ministry making a video of a prayer session of all the prayer warriors gathered, praying on this matter for a minimum of one hour, hopefully an hour and a half, to include in this folder. WE NEED THIS! We need a place to go to click on at any time, so we can join yous in prayer. This would be great encouragement in our prayer time and cause us to pray more!!! We would click on this prayer session over and over again to pray for the hard times coming to America! What a MIGHTY impact this would have! Another video that I would like to see included in this folder, would be getting the best teacher out there who knows how to instruct and INSPIRE us on Prayer and Fasting. Video tape it and include it in this folder. Another profitable idea would be for Rick Joyner to teach on the Moravian's spiritual habits that made them so effective, and for Rick to inspire us to implement this into our own lifestyle. A MUST VIDEO! And lastly, when I sent off a comment on the “Post New Comment” section – you have “save” on it. That is quite confusing to me. Where does it get saved too, limbo? Please consider changing the “save” button to “send”. That makes it clearer that it is being “sent” to yous. God bless your caring efforts! I think what Rick is doing is the MOST important thing going on in the body of Christ at this time. And tell Rick to stop letting the nay sayers that don’t believe in prophecy affect him. He doesn’t have to prove himself to anyone. It is God’s job to prove this ministry. I pray for God to open their eyes because God can do a far better job than we could. We are called to love the ‘nay sayers’, which I can already see Rick is doing. Let’s make them feel welcomed, for they will believe soon enough, and once they do they need to feel like they have a place to come to!
